Go through the details of each housing option, and select the one that suits you the best. Please keep us informed if your accommodation has already been arranged by personal correspondence with an existing student. Even in that case, please give us all your information and the person whom, you will be staying with, so that we can make adequate changes in our records. Also if your accomodation has not been arranged among the existing students or if you are coming in with your own group of 4-5 students, then we can arrange for accomodation by directly dealing with the Manager at College Station Place. Regarding other residential complexes, we will put in a word to them based on your request. After the initial introduciton, its your responsibility to be in touch with them and settle the accomodation. We will be glad to help you in case of any clarification. The office bearers at ISA will ensure that the new student is given a temporary accommodation, if a permanent accommodation is not possible right away. The student need not worry about his stay or food till he is settled completely into his new home. It is recommended that the student should carry a calling card so that he/she can inform their parents about their safe arrival once they reach Starkville.
HOUSING OPTIONS
Aiken Village: Primarily for students, families, professors and staff. It is a part of the university and has shuttle service from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Further details can be found from the link.
College Station Apartments: About 2 miles away from MSU campus.A College Housing style,well furnished 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom apartments equipped with amenities like Air-Conditioner,Microwave,Wall To Wall Carpet,Ceiling Fans,refrigerator,Dish-Washer.The apartments also consists of basketball court,Swimming Pool Outdoor,Tennis court,Fitness center. University Campus Housing: The University has housing arrangements in the form of Residence Halls and Aiken Family housing. Residence Halls are pretty expensive. Aiken is primarily for student families, professors and staff. The preference is usually give to familes and university staff. There are certain apartments alloted exclusively for students, but you will have to apply formally well in advance to be able to movie-in on time. There is normally a good bit of waiting period involved, so it is advised that you please apply in advance and keep regular contacts with the concerned person.
