Two options available.

1. GTR Airport: The nearest airport is the Golden Triangle Regional (GTR) airport ,which is about 13 miles from the campus. Please ensure that your connection from any major US airport is to Columbus/GTR-Mississippi. It is important to remember that the state is MISSISSIPPI. Many a times, airport officials mistake Columbus to "Columbus, Ohio" instead of "Columbus, Missiissippi". Since there is no public transportation is this city, your must inform us of your arrival to the above address or by contacting any of the office bearers. Please make a note that we will be unable to pick you up if your final destination is other than GTR - Columbus in MISSISSIPPI State. So make sure that you have booked your air tickets to COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI. In case you are unable to contact us, there is a private limousine service that will bring you to the campus for a nominal fee of $16. Also if your flight gets delayed please inform us of your new arrival time. Also ensure that you have the contact numbers of atleast two committee members in case of emergency. While in US, do not hesitate to ask for guidance. It is advisable to keep some quarters ($0.25 coins) worth $5-$10 with you, in case you need to make some phone calls or buy some food from vending machines.

2. Greyhound Bus Station: Transfer students, or students travelling from other places within US also have the option of travelling by Greyhound bus service. There is no Greyhound bus stop in Starkville. The nearest Greyhound is at Tuscaloosa, Alabama (neighbouring state) which is around 90 minutes from Starkville. So, additional arrangements have to be done to receive you from so far. Work out the details with the President if you are planning to come by Greyhound.
